Year 6 Peat Rigg
Another beautiful day in Peat Rigg.
The children had a lovely rural wake up to some sheep that had gathered around their windows to say hello as well as a ‘good morning’ from the local cockerel.
They have enjoyed a hearty breakfast, lunch and tea (and even tried some new foods!) as well as got stuck in with all the activities. Many have cooled off in the lake after canoeing and paddle boarding and completed team challenges to collect as many ducks as they could! Both adults and kids got very wet!
They worked on their teamwork when on low ropes and to climb Jacob’s ladder as well as enjoyed toasting marshmallows on their homemade fires.
To end the night, they have done team challenges, with the Survivors (Mrs McEwan’s group) winning with 345 points.
